**External Job Description:**
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, and potential production problems to ensure that services are provided as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, engineering, and production control. Administers, drafts and tracks all related correspondence for Alteration & Improvement (A&I) Items, Temporary Alterations, (TempAlt) and Command and Control Modifications (TCMOD). Experience executing the submarine Fleet Type Commanders (TYCOM) Alteration Kit (TYKIT) Program. Experience conducting liaison alteration related business with Planning Yard, government agencies and private industries. Monitored the approval, authorization, installation, and removal of Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTs) on submarines.
The majority of the responsibilities will be associated with computer use. Good sight and the full use of both hands for computer input are essential.

**Basic Qualifications:**
3 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 1 Year relevant experience with Masters; An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job's education requirements. Example: If this job required a Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience.
