Process Engineer

**Position Description:**

**Key Responsibilities:**
This position is responsible for developing and qualifying processes for new parts in Titanium and/or Superalloy systems, and for establishing process control & improvement initiatives for production parts. This position may include responsibility for Process Owner/Management of a technical process(s). Additional responsibilities include:
+ Preparing part-specific work instructions
+ Maintaining knowledge of costs, and developing appropriate plans to improve profitability
+ Employing statistical methodologies to continuously monitor and improve production part quality
+ Developing and implementing part/process improvement plans
+ Working closely with external customers to assure design requirements meet current investment casting capabilities
+ Concurrently engineer new parts with customers for producibility
+ Working closely with internal customers and peers to ensure processes are matched to manufacturing capabilities
+ Identify needed manufacturing capability enhancements, develop solutions, and lead implementation of action plans

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science from an accredited institution
+ Engineering experience in the casting industry preferred
+ 3 years of Engineering experience in Manufacturing
+ Experience in the Aerospace or other regulated industry
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD or Solidworks
+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Ability to work off-shift or during the weekend when needed

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution
+ Minimum of 1 year Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
